1 Massa - Codaganga

Beschrijving voorzijde	A standing elephant depicted in profile facing left, rendered in bold relief in the characteristic medieval Sri Lankan hammered style. The animal is shown with raised trunk curling upward, prominent tusks, and stylized legs rendered with heavy, angular lines. Small pellets or dots are visible in the field to the right of the elephant, a typical decorative element of Polonnaruwa-period coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The overall style is archaic and schematic, consistent with the indigenous artistic conventions of 12th-century Lankan copper coinage.
