Reverse description Sinhalese inscription filling the field in multiple lines, rendered in the medieval Sinhala script of the 13th century. The legend reads the royal name and title of the issuing king, Bhuwanaikabahu, in a dense, stylized epigraphic arrangement characteristic of Dambadeniya-period coinage. The script characters are boldly struck in high relief against an unornamented field. The coin is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse.
