Reverse description The large numeral '1' dominates the central field, flanked symmetrically on either side by two gracefully arching spruce branches bearing cones, their needled fronds rendered in fine relief detail. The denomination legend 'MARKKA' is inscribed in bold capital letters along the lower portion of the field, beneath the numeral. The entire design is encircled by a continuous beaded border running along the rim.
