Hartung & Co. m.b.H., Hamburg
Reverse description Orange underprint with a central illustration by O. Herrfurth showing the Hamburg folk figure "Hummel" — a tall man in a top hat carrying two buckets on a yoke — leading a procession of townspeople including women and children across an arched architectural backdrop. The denomination "1 Mark" appears in green Gothic lettering at the top, with numeral "1" in large green type flanking a central Fraktur verse panel at the bottom. The artist's signature "O. Herrfurth" is visible at the lower right of the vignette.
