背面描述 Central vignette presents a view of the barracks in Weimar as they appeared in 1806, flanked on each side by a soldier in the uniform of the Napoleonic Wars era. The composition is rendered in a period illustrative style consistent with the work of Georg Kötschau, with the date '1806' integrated into the design. The scene directly references the historical origins of the 94th Infantry Regiment.

备注

The Verein ehemaliger 94er was a veterans' association of the 4. Thüringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 94, garrisoned at Jena before the war. Like dozens of similar regimental associations across Weimar Germany, they issued notgeld — here a 1 Mark note — primarily as collectibles and fundraising instruments during the inflationary chaos of 1921, not as emergency currency in the strict sense. Georg Kötschau, a Jena-based artist, handled the design.

The connection to Jena's university town milieu and the tight-knit nature of regimental associations meant these were produced in small numbers and distributed almost entirely within the membership.
