| 表面の説明 | Central vignette bears a large Prussian crown flanked on either side by the regimental cyphers of Grand Duke Carl Alexander (CA) and Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst (W), with the motto GOTT MIT UNS arching above. The denomination 1 Mark appears twice, and a multi-line commemorative text records the occasion of the first regimental day of the Association of Former 94ers, held in Jena, 20–22 August 1921. The design is executed in a plain letterpress style consistent with small commemorative Notgeld issues of the early 1920s. |

The "Verein ehemaliger 94er" was an ex-servicemen's association of veterans from the 5. Thüringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 94, garrisoned in Jena before the First World War. Like hundreds of similar veterans' clubs in Weimar-era Germany, they issued their own Notgeld — emergency small-change scrip — during the acute coin shortage of 1921, functioning as a social organization's internal currency rather than any formally sanctioned monetary instrument.
These regimental association notes were printed in very small quantities for local use among members and are almost never encountered outside specialist German Notgeld collections.
