The large title word 'Gutschein' appears in decorative red and black Gothic script at the top centre, flanked on the left by the Westerland municipal coat of arms with the motto 'Rüm Hart klaar Kimming' and on the right by a heraldic shield bearing the motto 'Lewerdua üs Slav.'
