| 背面描述 | The reverse is otherwise plain yellow cardboard, bearing a single large circular violet handstamp applied off-centre to the left. The stamp encloses a small heraldic vignette at its centre — an eagle or imperial motif — with the unit inscription arranged around the circumference and across the interior, serving as the sole authenticating device on this side. |

| 备注 |
Rumänenkommando XIII was one of the German military prisoner-of-war camp commands administering Romanian captives during the First World War. These internal camp currencies — issued on yellow cardboard stock rather than proper banknote paper — were a practical solution to the problem of preventing prisoners from accumulating Reichsmarks that might fund escape attempts or be smuggled out. The handstamp served as the sole authentication, applied locally within the camp administration rather than by any central printing authority.
Provenance for individual pieces is almost never traceable. The issuing command's precise camp location within the XIII. Armeekorps district remains disputed in the literature.
