| 背面描述 | Crowned quartered coat of arms of Sweden, incorporating the three crowns and the lion passant quarters, with the small Vasa dynastic shield at center. The mark value numeral divides the arms within the field. A peripheral Latin legend encircles the entire design, denoting the coin as new royal Swedish coinage. The heraldic composition is typical of the late 16th-century Swedish regal series under Sigismund III. |

Sigismund III Vasa held the Swedish throne for only four years before being deposed by his uncle Charles IX, but his tenure produced one of the more politically charged coinages in Scandinavian history. Born and raised Catholic in Poland, Sigismund's rule over Lutheran Sweden was perpetually unstable — the marks struck in his name during 1594–95 were issued while his grip on the kingdom was already slipping following his coronation at Uppsala.
The Kopicki references 10531 and 10532 distinguish between die variants from this short window, both struck at Stockholm.
