Obverse description The obverse is printed in blue, black, red, and yellow, with a dark floral scroll underprint filling the field. A large central triangle in light blue carries the bold red and black denomination numeral '1' above the word 'Mark' in Gothic script. Flanking cartouches in yellow bear the legends 'Gutschein über' at left and '100 Pfennig' at right, with series letters 'Lit. D' at both lower corners. A three-line redemption text in the lower panel names the Spar- u. Creditbank e.G.m.b.H. Stolzenau a/W., while the bottom strip carries the validity clause, date '15. Nov. 1921', and two manuscript signatures.

Reverse description The reverse is divided into three vertical panels against a blue scroll-work ground. The left panel carries a red heraldic shield with two rampant golden lions holding a crowned pretzel, representing the baker's guild arms of Stolzenau. The central panel presents a vignette of a female baker in white apron tending loaves in a large oven with a long-handled peel, with the denomination '1 Mark' in white Gothic lettering above. The right panel bears an oval yellow cartouche enclosing a craftsmen's coat of arms with square and compass devices; below the panels the motto 'Des deutschen Handwerk's Herrlichkeit erhalte sich in Ewigkeit' is split across left and right text blocks, and a full-width footer reads 'Handwerk hat goldenen Boden' in bold black Gothic lettering.
