| Obverse description | Square klippe flan with a rope-milled border running along all four edges. At center, a crowned fleur-de-lis motif rendered in bold relief, the crown surmounting the stylized lily with flanking foliate scrolls. The date 1598 is distributed across the four corners of the field, with digits '1' and '5' appearing in the upper left and upper right respectively, and '9' and '8' in the lower left and lower right, framing the central device symmetrically. |
