| Obverse description | The obverse presents a central oval vignette of the Alter Hafen (Old Harbour) of Wismar, rendered in a woodcut-style illustration with figures on the quayside and sailing masts in the background, framed by a wreath of wheat ears. To the left of the vignette appears the municipal coat of arms of Wismar in red and black, while to the right a large red numeral '9' above the legend 'ALLE' alludes to the bowling theme of the event.
