| Descrizione del dritto | Printed in dark brown and red on cream paper, the obverse is divided into horizontal bands. The upper band carries the title in Gothic blackletter script reading 'Wechselschein der Jugendburg Ludwigstein bei Witzenhausen an der Werra', flanked by stylised foliate corner ornaments. The central panel contains the large Gothic denomination numeral '1 Mk' set within a dark cartouche, with advisory text in two flanking columns noting the note's restricted validity to Burg Ludwigstein and the redemption guarantee of the association. The lower band states the expiry date of 4 April 1922, the issue date of 4 April 1921, the issuing body 'Die Vereinigung zur Erhaltung der Burg e.V.', and bears two manuscript signatures below. |
