Reverse description The reverse displays the crowned Swedish coat of arms at center, featuring the three crowns of Sweden in the upper left quarter and the Vasa sheaf device in the lower quarters, all surmounted by a large royal crown. A rampant lion occupies the right quarters of the quartered shield. The surrounding Latin legend BEATVS : QVI : TIMET : DOMINVM, separated by the mintmark, is rendered in Gothic lettering within a beaded border, with the date split on either side of the shield. The overall composition is typical of the elaborate heraldic reverse design employed at the Åbo Mint during the reign of Gustav Vasa.
