At centre, a large oval denomination cartouche bearing the numeral '1' is framed by a laurel wreath with red ribbon ties and a banner inscribed 'MARK' below. The upper legend in Gothic blackletter reads 'Gutschein des Fürstenhofes / Bad Oeynhausen i/Westfalen', while the lower panel carries the validity clause and the manuscript signature of W. Klütsch, hotel proprietor.
