Obverse description Armored bust of King Eric XIV facing right, occupying the central field, depicted in a robust Renaissance style with visible drapery and armor detailing. The effigy is surrounded by a circular legend in Latin reading the king's full royal titulature. The lettering is separated by pellet or colon stops and rendered in Gothic-influenced characters typical of mid-16th-century Baltic coinage.
