| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a shield-shaped cartouche at center bearing the monogram 'DTS' in relief, serving as the corporate emblem of Deutsche Ton- und Steinzeugwerke A.G. A curved legend arcs above and below the shield, reading 'NUR BIS 31. DEZEMBER 1921 EINLÖSBAR', indicating the strict redemption deadline of December 31, 1921. The date '1921' appears integrated into the upper portion of the legend. The field is otherwise plain, with a reeded edge encircling the coin's circumference. The design is typical of corporate-issued German porcelain notgeld of the inflationary period. |

Deutsche Ton- und Steinzeugwerke AG was a major stoneware and industrial ceramics manufacturer based in Charlottenburg, and in 1921 they did what dozens of German industrial firms did during the postwar notgeld crisis: struck their own emergency currency in the material they knew best. Porcelain notgeld from this period was a practical solution — the raw material was controlled, counterfeiting was difficult, and the tokens carried implicit credibility tied to the issuer's own production capacity.
The dark gray body distinguishes this piece from the more commonly encountered white or polychrome porcelain issues of the same period.
