Vorderseitenbeschreibung	Green guilloche underprint covers the central field, overlaid with a central vignette of two crossed flagstaffs bearing the French tricolour and the British Union Jack, tied at the intersection with a laurel wreath and ribbon bow. Four heraldic shields occupy the corners — the Danish Dannebrog shield (upper left), the German imperial colours (upper right), the Swedish arms (lower left), and the Norwegian arms (lower right). The issuer's name appears in a ribbon cartouche at the top reading 'BROAGER KOMMUNE', with the serial number in a green panel immediately below; the denomination '1 MARK' is printed in bold at both left and right, and the legends 'PLEBISCIT' and 'SLESVIG' appear in large block capitals at centre, above the date 'BROAGER, d. 10. FEBR. 1920.' and the facsimile signature of the Kommuneforstander.

Rückseitenbeschreibung	The reverse presents a full-colour pictorial vignette framed by a decorative border of green laurel leaves with Danish Dannebrog roundels at each corner. The central composition shows a radiant Danish national flag on a flagpole supported by two rampant red lions, set against a landscape panorama with a twin-spired Gothic church to the left and a coastal cliff scene to the right. A curved inscription in black letterpress encircles the upper arc of the radiating flag.
