| 正面描述 | Plain light-blue tinted paper note enclosed within a decorative typeset border of repeating scroll ornaments. The serial number appears at the top centre within a ruled box, flanked by the denomination "1 Mark" in the upper left and right corners. The central text, set in Fraktur typeface, states the bearer's entitlement to goods to the value of one Mark from local tradespeople on account of the Gemeinde Mikultschütz, conditional upon the note bearing the stamp of the Donnersmarckhütte; a boxed clause at the foot notes that the municipal treasury redeems 20 such notes for 20 Mark. A large violet cancellation stamp is applied diagonally across the lower portion of the face. |

Mikultschütz — now Mikulczyce, part of Zabrze in present-day Poland — issued notgeld during the chaotic period surrounding the Upper Silesian plebiscite of March 1921 and its violent aftermath. Municipal authorities across the region printed their own emergency scrip simply because central currency supply had broken down and local commerce couldn't wait for Berlin or Warsaw to sort out the political mess.
The issuer ceased to exist as a German administrative unit after the 1922 partition, which makes the window of possible issue dates narrow — and any surviving piece a direct artifact of one of interwar Europe's most contested border disputes.
