| Opmerkingen |
Bad Neuenahr was a spa town in the Rhineland whose notgeld issues during the 1921–1923 inflation period were frequently produced with local resort aesthetics in mind — these were as much collector pieces as circulating emergency money. The Kur-Direktion, the spa authority, handled issuance here rather than a conventional municipal treasury, which was unusual even by notgeld standards.
Pfleister's involvement suggests a locally commissioned design rather than a stock printer's plate. The reference suffix variants (.2-3/6) indicate at least minor printing or paper differences within the same issue run worth distinguishing for series collectors.
