| 正面描述 | The note is divided into three vertical panels: the left and right panels carry a yellow-orange field with the denomination numeral '1' above the abbreviation 'M' in large blue block letters. The central panel presents a vignette of a bare, leafless tree with spreading branches rising from the municipal coat of arms of Klodnitz, rendered in a fine linear style against a cream and light-blue guilloche underprint. The lower border bears the place name 'Klodnitz-Oderhafen' in bold script, while the left panel carries a validity inscription and the right panel bears the issue date and a facsimile signature of the municipal chairman. |

| 备注 |
This note is a product of the Upper Silesia plebiscite period — the March 1921 vote on whether the region would join Germany or Poland left local administrations in a state of prolonged uncertainty, and Notgeld issues like this one filled the gap left by an unreliable national currency supply. Klodnitz, a small industrial commune near Gleiwitz, was among dozens of Upper Silesian municipalities that printed their own emergency money during this window.
Grass, Barth & Comp. (operating under the W. Friedrich imprint) was a well-established Breslau commercial printer, not a specialist security house — the guilloche underprint was their concession to anti-counterfeiting, though for denominations this small, forgery was rarely a practical concern.
