| Obverse description | The central vignette carries the Fürstenwalde coat of arms — a quartered shield charged with black and red eagles, surmounted by a spread-winged heraldic eagle above a leafy oak tree — flanked by two dark blue circular medallions enclosed in laurel wreaths, bearing the Gothic-script legends 'Gutschein der Stadt' and 'Fürstenwalde Spree'. Red-framed verse panels occupy the upper left and right corners in red Gothic letterpress, while denomination panels at lower left and right render '1 Mrk' in green Gothic numerals. The lower portion carries the issue year 1921, two manuscript authorisation signatures, and the printer's imprint. |
