The left and right panels each carry a diamond-shaped vignette enclosing the numeral '1' over 'MARK', with geometric lattice ornaments, flanked by the town name 'HALTERN' at top and 'EINE MARK' at bottom. The central panel presents a full-colour letterpress street scene of a historic Haltern lane with a round medieval stone tower, half-timbered buildings, and townsfolk in period dress. A humorous verse in small type runs along the lower margin, and the designer's name 'KORBER' appears in the lower right corner of the central vignette. |
