| 正面铭文 | 1 Mark Gutschein der Stadt Eldagsen | Krieger Denkmal 1866 | Krieger Denkmal 1870-71 | Dieser Gutschein verliert am 1.2.22 seine Gültigkeit | Eldagsen, den 1.6.21 | Der Magistrat |
| 背面描述 | The reverse is printed on a parchment-toned ground within a simulated torn-edge border in black, evoking an aged document. The denomination 'Eine Mark' is set in large ornate Gothic blackletter at the top with decorative flourishes, followed by a lengthy Low German verse text in Gothic script — printed in black with red initial letters — recounting the 1625 burning of Eldagsen by Colonel Plankhart. A circular wax-seal vignette in orange and brown is placed at the lower right. |

| 备注 |
Eldagsen is a small town in Lower Saxony, and this note is a product of the acute small-change shortage that gripped Germany in the early 1920s as postwar inflation began eroding the value of metal coinage. Municipal and commercial Notgeld of this type was issued by thousands of local authorities between 1918 and 1922 — a decentralized, unglamorous solution to a very practical problem.
The DeNG 2 reference places this among a set of five variants (327.1–5), likely distinguished by serial number ranges or minor printing differences rather than substantive design changes.
