At centre, the circular municipal seal of Plön displays a fortified gateway with a shield above and two fish below, encircled by the legend STADTWAPPEN · PLOENER · and the date 1236, set within a sunburst radiating lines across the field. The denomination '1 MARK' appears in bold letterpress to the left and right of the vignette, with wavy underprint lines in the lower half. The issue date and expiry notice are inscribed at upper left, a serial number with letter prefix at upper right, and two manuscript facsimile signatures appear at the lower left and right beneath the authority designations DER MAGISTRAT and DAS STADTVERORDNETENKOLLEGIUM. |
