| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red and gold on a dark brown background, divided by a large bold red numeral '1' running vertically through the centre. Two ornate shield-shaped cartouches in Gothic style flank the central figure, the left bearing the text 'Gut=schein / der Gemeinde' and the right 'Tonndorf-Lohe', with validity clause reading 'Gültig bis einen Monat nach Aufruf in den Altrahlst. Neuest. Nachr.' Decorative scrollwork with grape motifs frames the composition, and a facsimile signature of the Gemeindevorsteher appears in the lower right, above the large denomination inscription '1 Mark' at the foot. |
