Moralistic text in German runs along all four inner borders. 'NOTGELD' appears in bold gothic lettering at the top, 'Neundorf i. Anh.' at the foot, with denomination numeral '1' and 'MARK' repeated in the corner panels. The printer's credit 'BLOSSFELD 1921' is given in the lower margin. |
