Two flanking panels each show a young woman in traditional costume — black bodice, red-hemmed skirt — holding a lit candle, while the central panel depicts a couple in period dress engaged in the dance, the bride in a voluminous red skirt. The denomination '1 Mk.' appears in yellow cornerpieces at all four corners, with the title banner 'De Stapelholmer Brutdanz' in a ruled cartouche at the top and a Low German verse inscription enclosed in a decorative frame at the bottom. |
