| Obverse description | The obverse is printed on a pale guilloche underprint with a decorative rope-pattern border running the full perimeter. The denomination "Eine Mark" is set in large blackletter Gothic script at the centre, flanked in the upper corners by "1 M" cartouches. Below the main legend, a text block in smaller blackletter states the obligation of the Städt. Sparkasse Königsberg i. Fr. to the bearer, with redemption conditions and the issuance date of November 1918 in Königsberg in Franken. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower left and right, attributed respectively to the Stadtrat and the Städt. Sparkasse, with a red typeset serial number below centre. |
