A central oval vignette presents a traditionally dressed peasant woman holding a sheaf of grain, set before a half-timbered Odenwald farmhouse, flanked by symmetrical arrangements of wheat ears, roses, and fruit in orange underprint. Redemption text in Gothic script flanks the vignette on either side, with the place and date 'Erbach i. Odw. im Nov. 1918' at centre-bottom, a facsimile signature to the lower right, and a circular heraldic lion watermark stamp to the lower left. |
