Reverse description Three heraldic shields arranged in a trefoil or cloverleaf pattern with their bases pointing outward, representing the cities of Hamburg, Lüneburg, and Wismar, alluding to the Wendish monetary union. A small shield of Lübeck is placed at the center where the three larger shields converge, and a small heart ornament fills each interstice between adjacent shields. The composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a circular uncial legend and the date 1506 running between the inner circle and the milled outer rim.
