Obverse description The Hohenzollern eagle displayed, wings spread, set within an elaborate rococo cartouche surmounted by a royal crown. The single-headed eagle faces left and is rendered in high relief, its talons visible at the base of the shield-shaped frame. Decorative scrollwork and foliate ornaments flank the central motif, characteristic of mid-18th century German die work. The coin has a milled edge border and no surrounding legend.

Rosette ornaments appear to the left and right of the numeral 'I' at the top of the inscription. The reverse is entirely typographic, with no figural imagery, and is enclosed within a milled border.
