Reverse description The central field contains the denomination inscribed in four horizontal lines: the numeral I flanked by rosette stops on the first line, followed by MARIEN, GROS, and the mintmaster's initials H·B· on successive lines, all contained within a double beaded inner circle. The circumferential Latin legend around the periphery reads * FURST:BR:LUNEB:LANDMUNTZ, identifying the coin as a princely land currency of Brunswick-Lüneburg, enclosed between the inner circle and a milled outer border.
