| Reverse description | Christ enthroned facing, seated within a Gothic architectural setting flanked by two columns with decorative capitals, his right hand raised in benediction and his left hand resting on his knee. The Christogram IC - XC appears in the field to either side of the figure. The surrounding legend . TIBI • SOLI • GLORIA • IC - XC is distributed around the periphery within a beaded border. The image of Christ is rendered with fine drapery folds and a prominent nimbus, consistent with the devotional iconographic tradition of Venetian silver coinage of the 1470s. |
