Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Suleyman II, rendered in the traditional Ottoman style with intertwined loops, vertical shafts, and sweeping horizontal arms. The tughra fills the entire flan and is executed in raised relief against a granular copper field. A beaded border encircles the design along the coin's periphery. The script is Arabic, characteristic of late 17th-century Ottoman mint production.
