Obverse description Heavily corroded copper field bearing a partially legible Arabic-script legend arranged in multiple lines across the flan. The design is typical of late 17th-century Ottoman hammered copper coinage, with the inscription occupying the central field. The surface exhibits extensive patination with green and brown encrustations obscuring fine detail. A rope or dotted border is faintly discernible around the periphery. The strike is irregular, consistent with hand-hammered provincial Ottoman manufacture.
