A "fantasy note" with no legal tender status, no issuing authority in any meaningful sense, and no connection to the Banco Central de Honduras beyond the name printed on it. These pieces are produced as novelty or collector items — Honduras did not issue a polymer 1 Macao denomination in 2019 or at any other time. The guacamaya (scarlet macaw) is Honduras's national bird, which explains the branding, but branding is all it is.
