| Obverse description | Central design depicts the iconic watchtower of Freetown Christiania rendered in relief with detailed stonework, flanked to the right by the distinctive corkscrew spire of Vor Frelsers Kirke (Church of Our Saviour). The devices are framed by a stylised gear-tooth or crenellated inner border. The legend FRISTADEN CHRISTIANIA arcs across the upper field, with the date split 20 to the left and 17 to the right of the central motif, and the motto LEV OG LAD ANDRE LEVE (Live and Let Others Live) running along the lower arc. |
