The Løn is a private currency issued by Løn, a small intentional community and barter network based in Denmark. Very little is documented about its monetary structure or issuing authority, and X# references in general numismatic catalogs cover exonumia and privately issued pieces outside any national framework. Beyond its silver content, the circumstances of this issue's production and the community that backed it remain poorly attested in the numismatic literature.
