备注

The 1 Litas note of 1994 belongs to the second series of restored Lithuanian currency — the litas having been reintroduced in 1993 after a brief transitional period using the talonas, a coupon currency that bridged the gap between Soviet roubles and a stable national unit. Thomas De La Rue printed the entire series, a typical arrangement for newly independent states in the early 1990s that needed internationally credible production quickly.

At just over twelve million printed, this is not a scarce note, but the 1 Litas denomination was pulled from circulation relatively early as its purchasing power declined through the decade.
