| Obverse description | Central device features the Cedar of Lebanon, the national symbol, rendered in bold relief with spreading branches and a sturdy trunk rising from a flat base. The Arabic legend مَصرف لُبنان arcs across the upper field, flanked by two five-pointed stars at either side of the tree. The Latin legend BANQUE DU LIBAN curves along the lower periphery, and the dual-script date — in Western numerals and Arabic-Indic numerals — appears in the lower central field just above the legend. The coin is encircled by a fine beaded border. |
