She holds a shield on her left arm and extends an olive branch in her right hand. The date appears below the prancing hooves of the horses. Along the exergual line, the author's name appears to the left and the engraver's signature M. A. MOTTI INC. to the right. In the exergue, the denomination L. 1 is flanked by decorative knots, with the Rome mint mark R to the left and the Star of Italy to the right.
