Reverse description The allegorical figure of Justice is depicted seated facing front in the central field, draped in classical robes, holding a balance scale in her raised right hand and resting her left hand on a fasces or tablet in her lap. The word IVSTITIA is split across the lower field, reading IVSI to the left and TIA to the right of the central figure. The circular legend STATO DELLA CITTA DEL VATICANO runs along the outer rim. The denomination L. 1 appears in the exergue below the seated figure, with the engraver's signature MISTRUZZI inscribed in small letters to the right of the exergue line.
