| Obverse description | The elaborate coat of arms of the Ottoman Empire occupies the brass centre, featuring a central shield flanked by crossed weapons, banners, and military emblems, surmounted by a crescent and star with a tughra above, all set against radiating sunburst lines. The composition is framed by scrolling acanthus ornaments and decorative rosettes at the base. In the copper-nickel outer ring, the legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' arcs along the upper periphery, with a crescent and star to the left and a small mint mark to the right.
