| Reverse description | Two allegorical figures rendered in high relief occupy the central field: a standing female figure, personifying Faith or Truth, gestures outward with her right arm while holding a banner or scroll aloft in her left hand, directing her gaze toward a kneeling male figure at her side. The kneeling figure, depicted in classical drapery, appears to receive or acknowledge her testimony. A ground line separates the figures from the lower field, where the date appears. The circumferential Latin legend VT • TESTIMONIVM • PERHIBERET, meaning 'to bear witness,' encircles the design, and the date is placed at the bottom of the coin in the exergue area. |
