Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Ferdinand I facing right, with finely engraved hair bound by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the nape. The effigy is rendered in a classical neoclassical style with sharp, detailed relief. The circular legend surrounds the bust, separated from the toothed border by a plain field. The mint mark appears below the bust at the bottom of the field.
