Reverse description A cross with trefoil-ended arms positioned above a three-line inscription in the field, the entire design enclosed within an elaborate laurel wreath. A mintmark appears below the wreath in the exergue area. The motto legend IN VIRTVTE TVA V encircles the composition, referencing the ducal device of trust in divine virtue, rendered in the formal epigraphic Latin style typical of late sixteenth- and early seventeenth-century Savoyard silver coinage.
