Obverse description Bimetallic coin featuring, within the brass inner circle, the Turkish state emblem consisting of a crescent and star above a wreath of laurel and oak branches enclosing the denomination numeral '1' and the legend 'TÜRK LİRASI' with the date '2011' below. The outer copper-nickel ring bears the legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' disposed around the circumference. The mint mark of the Turkish State Mint appears at the bottom of the coin.
