| Descrizione del rovescio | The brass centre depicts a three-quarter facing portrait of Sultan Bayezid I (Yıldırım Bayezid), wearing a large plumed Ottoman turban characteristic of the late 14th century, rendered in bold relief with fine sculptural detail. A crescent and star device appear to the left within the copper-nickel ring. The upper legend along the ring reads OSMANLI PADİŞAHLARI, the lower left inscription carries the regnal dates 1360–1403, and the lower right legend reads YILDIRIM BAYEZİD, identifying the sultan commemorated on this issue. |
