Reverse description The reverse displays a large bold numeral '1' at centre, overlying a cornucopia filled with a cluster of grapes, evoking agricultural abundance. To the left of the central motif, the original issue year 1951 is inscribed, with the Rome mint mark 'R' below it. The denomination L. 1 appears in raised letters along the lower rim. The outer border is decorated with a continuous wreath of vine leaves and grape bunches, framing the design in an elegant circular arrangement. The date 2001 is inscribed at the top of the outer border, identifying this as a commemorative restrike of the original 1951 issue.
